I recently stayed at Hotel Toscana for three nights during my visit to Florence. The location was outstanding, just a short walk from Piazza Santa Maria Novella and the train station. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and catching trains to nearby destinations. The staff, especially Sabrina and Bese, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Sabrina's multilingual fluency was impressive and made communication easy for both me and other guests. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, with a good-sized bathroom. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Toscana.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Location: The hotel was conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance of major attractions. This made it easy to explore the city and save time on transportation.
Limited Amenities: The hotel lacked certain amenities that would have enhanced the stay. There was no Wi-Fi available, which made it difficult to stay connected.

Just breakfast.
Hotel stuff weren't so helpful about our problems. They weren't friendly and humane. It won't prefer Toscana again and recommend anyone. We hate Toscana. Thanks for your asking.

The best thing about this hotel must be its location, very close to the center and to Plazza della Republica; also the air conditioning which, for our July visit, was an absolute must have; the breakfast was ok.
The worst was by far the very hard pillow, I couldn't wait to get back home to my own pillow ; the hotel staff were not very hospitable; the room and the hotel itself could use a fresh coat of paint; the bathroom door was sliding and with cracks in it, almost see-through; the room door was not very safe, I could hardly close it and lock it, which made us feel unsafe.

The location was mind-blowing! Super close to major attractions and the train station. The staff was jaw-droppingly friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for transportation and sightseeing. The common area was perfect for gathering and the beds were super comfortable. Plus, free wi-fi and air conditioning made our stay even better.

The location really is excellent. It's a cheap little hotel, nearly cheap enough for backpackers but at least you get your own bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also, I was impressed by the breakfast range.
There was an odd smell about the place. Other things I didn't particularly enjoy - such as the tiny size of the room, the unpredictability of the shower, the fact that the hotel is located on the first floor up - I was aware of before I stayed so can't really complain about.
